The Chamber is organized for the purpose of advancing the commercial, industrial, civic, and general interests of Arenac County and its trade area. We encourage the growth of existing industries and businesses, while giving assistance to any new firms or individuals seeking to relocate to or within the Arenac County area. The Chamber seeks to support all activities believed to be beneficial to the community and area. We believe in promoting the welfare of all area citizens, following policies that will accomplish the
"greatest good for the greatest number."

"Gateway To The North"
Standish offers many options for travelers to grab a bite to eat on their way Up North -
But we aren't just a drive through town!
The Standish Area offers camping, fishing, gambling, boating, canoeing, shopping, ice fishing and hometown eateries.
Make sure to visit the historic Train Depot especially during the summer months to enjoy a free outdoor concert or Farmers Market, on Friday's. The day after Thanksgiving is the Depot Santa Parade and Lighting.
